Final update can be found HERE . Basically he settled with a check and the truck after assessing the damage and getting an estimate for repairs. We found one critical issue though :’( Currently, he might have a buyer for the truck as is for parts and after tomorrow, my mom might get the vehicle in the link *finger’s crossed* since she doesn’t have a vehicle at the moment

Hope the Merc works out for your mom. Sucks about reverse in the truck. Wouldn’t it make more sense to go head first into the store? You’d think the dro t end is far stronger and would break through the convenience store much easier. Then again, criminals generally aren’t smart
